Emery Joseph Solet, 76, a native and resident of Houma, died at 9:17 a.m. 
Saturday, June 8, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral 
Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 

with burial in St. Joseph Co-Cathedral Cemetery.

He is survived by his first wife, Janice Marie Guillot; and nieces, Caroline 
Francis Ordoyne, Clara Jane Francis and Mona Francis Williamson.

He was preceded in death by his paternal mother, Deselia Solet; stepmother, Eva 
Albertine Francis Solet; stepfathers, Allen Robinson and Johnny Solet; and 
uncles, Evest Paul Francis and Nobert Francis.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
