Mary Verret Theriot, 69, a native of Dularge and resident of Bayou Blue, died 
Friday, June 14, 2013.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Samart Funeral Home in Houma 
and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at St. Louis Catholic Church in 
Bayou Blue. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the 
church, 

with burial in St. Louis Catholic Church cemetery in Bayou Blue.

She is survived by her husband, Abel Theriot; sons, Elward John Theriot and 
Troy Theriot; daughters, Samantha Theriot Levick and husband, Jack, and Shavon 
Theriot; sister, Eva Laura Verret Dore; grandchildren, John Theriot, Preston 
Theriot and Savannah Theriot; and great-grandchildren, Presley and John Theriot 
II.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Verret and Elsie Mae Verdin 
Verret; and sister, Anna Mae Verret Voisin.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed by all.

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
