THIBODAUX, ROLAND, SR.
Obituary

Roland A. Thibodaux Sr., 82, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died Monday, 
June 10, 2013.

Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until funeral time 
Wednesday at Thibodaux Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 
a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral, 

with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.

He is survived by his sons, Joseph, Ronald, Terry and Edgar Thibodaux; 
daughters, Betty T. LeBlanc, Sandra T. Blanchard, Debra T. Burke, Mary T. 
Landry, Michelle T. Adams, Sue T. Cressione, Babette T. Naquin, Cheryl 
Thibodaux and Lelia T. Albert; sister, Loretta Ponvelle; numerous 
grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Fields Thibodaux; sons, Roland Jr., 
Jerry and Jeffrey Thibodaux; sister, Marie Bourgeois; parents, Edgar and 
Luciana Haydel Thibodaux; grandchildren, Faron Burke, Katlene Thibodaux and 
Baby Thibodaux; brother, Robert Thibodaux Sr.; and one great-grandson, Drake 
Taylor.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
