Rita Zeringue, 88, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died Tuesday, June 
25,2013.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at St. Joseph Co-
Cathedral in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday 
at the church, 

with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.

She is survived by her sisters, Frances "Teeny" Clement, Kathleen "Dute" Percle 
and Betty Melancon; stepdaughters, Joann Foret and Sharon Taylor; and many 
loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, step-grandchildren and 
step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Harry Toups Jr. and Joseph Zeringue; 
parents, Alexander and Hattie P. Caillouet; brother, Roland Caillouet Sr.; and 
sisters, Gertrude Chiasson and Yvonne "Nona" Adams.

She loved reading, going to Mass, trips to the casino and spending time with 
family and friends.

Special thanks goes to the staff at Audubon Health and Rehab.
