Verna Himel Boudreaux Arcement, 94, a native of Thibodaux and resident of 
Labadieville, passed away Monday, July 29, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. Philomena 
Catholic Church in Labadieville. A Mass of Christian burial will be at noon 
Saturday at the church, 

with burial in St. Philomena Catholic Church cemetery in Labadieville.

She is survived by her son, Gerald Boudreaux and wife, Linda; sisters, Margaret 
Bourgeois and Lois T. Himel; grandchildren, Mynette Boudreaux and Shannon P. 
Boudreaux; great-grandchildren, Brandi Boudreaux, Owen T. Boudreaux and Brandon 
Garrett; and one great-great-grandchild, Zayn Carter Boudreaux.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Melvin Boudreaux; second 
husband, Noley Arcement; parents, Edgar and Henrietta Benoit Himel; brothers, 
Russell, Horace, and Whitney Himel; sister, Lilly Rose Gros; and one 
grandchild, Ryan Boudreaux.

Landry's Funeral Home in Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.
