Rev. Warren Chassaniol passed away on July 9, 2013.

Visitation will be on Thursday, July 11 at Joseph Co-Cathedral from 8 a.m. till 
10 a.m. with a mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. 

Burial will be in the priests’ tomb at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral cemetery.

In lieu of flowers please consider contributing to the seminarian burse in 
Father Chassaniol’s name and send funds to the Pastoral Center, Attn: 
Seminarian Burse, P. O. Box 505, Schriever, LA 70395.

Father Chassaniol was born on November 7, 1939, and was ordained a priest on 
December 18, 1965.

He is the son of the late Warren Francis Chassaniol, Sr. and Victoria Marie 
Roux.

Father Chassaniol has served in many parishes, especially as pastor of Our Lady 
of the Rosary in Larose, St. Andrew in Amelia and Our Lady of the Isle in Grand 
Isle.
