Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until funeral time Friday at St. Joseph Co- Cathedral in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux. She is survived by her sons, Thomas Danos and wife, Susan, of Covington, and James Danos and wife, Patricia Fandt, of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; grandchildren, Courtney Brown and husband, Dr. Benjamin Brown, of Jacksonville, Fla., and Alicia Danos, of Mandeville; and great-grandchild, Caroline Brown. Her husband, Isaac T. Danos, preceded her in death. Both she and her late husband were respected educators. She was a teacher in the elementary schools of north Lafourche Parish, and he was a principal and administrator in the parish school board office. Upon her retirement, she enjoyed traveling the world to reinforce her strong belief in her Catholic faith and her devotion to the Virgin Mary. When she could no longer travel, she joined with others of like faith to dedicate her life to improving our world through prayer and devotions. She touched and inspired many people with her prayerful life. The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to the attentive people of Journey Hospice for the wonderful care and kindness given to Lorraine during the last years of her life. We would also like to thank Delores Jones, her caregiver, for the friendship, kindness and compassion shown to Lorraine during the last eight years of her life. Lorraine requested that instead of flowers, memorial donations be made to Eternal Word Television Network. Landry's Funeral Home in Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements. ======================
