DORIS THOMAS DAVIS, a homemaker, died Friday, July 19, 2013 at her residence in 
Napoleonville,LA. She was 70 and a native of Napoleonville. 

Visiting at Williams & Southall Funeral Home, Napoleonville, from 2:00pm to 
4:30pm Friday, July 26, 2013. Visiting at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in 
Napoleonville, LA from 9:00am to Religious Services at 11:00am Saturday July 
27, 2013 conducted by Rev. Herman Daniels. 

Burial in Mt. Carmel Baptist Church cemetery in Napoleonville. 

Survived by 2 daughters, Stacey (Charles) Bernard of Thibodaux, LA, and Deidra 
(Larry) Woods of Napoleonville, LA; 1 son, Randy (Thester) Davis of 
Napoleonville, LA; 6 sisters, Dorothy (Ulis) Meads, Elouise (Albert) Johnson, 
Julia (Raymond) Keyes, Barbara (Dale) Mitchell and Erma (Robert) Cassie all of 
Napoleonville, LA, and Joann (Fred) Cerventes of Aurora, CO; 3 brothers, 
Lawrence (Margaret) Thomas, Jr. of Houston, TX, Gerald (Janice) Thomas of 
Napoleonville, LA, and Harold Thomas of Washington, DC; Also survived by 6 
grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, 
nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Preceded in death by her husband, Murray Davis; her long-time companion, Eddie 
Willis; Parents, Margaret and Lawrence Thomas, Sr.; 3 brothers, Wilbert, Samuel 
and Willie Thomas.
