Elizabeth Molaison Savoie Davis, 87, was born Oct. 11, 1925, and died Monday, 
July 29,2013.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at the House of 
Prayer in Thibodaux. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the 
church, 

with burial in St. Bridget Cemetery in Schriever.

She is survived by her daughters, Jane Otego and husband, Roland, Violet 
Samanie and husband, Ted, Frances Savoie and husband, Fred, and Darlene Savoie 
and husband, Lee; son Harvey Savoie; 16 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 
19 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Una May Orlapp.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Onezip and Bernadette Matherne 
Molaison; first husband, Morris Savoie; second husband, Hayward "Bro. 
Jitterbug" Davis; son, Norris Savoie; daughters, Deborah Savoie and Gail 
Fields; five sisters; and three brothers.

Landry's Funeal Home in Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.
