Dawn Doucet, 47, a native and resident of Houma, died Saturday, July 6, 2013.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until funeral time Friday at Grace Lutheran 
Church in Houma. A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the church.

She is survived by her mother, Hazel Doucet; daughter, Brittany Hitt; sisters, 
Karlene Boudreaux and husband, Glynn, and Lisa Doucet Robichaux; brother, 
Garret Doucet and wife, Claire; grandchild, Emma Hitt; god children, SaSha 
Robichaux, David Boudreaux and Jordan Doucet; nieces and nephews, Brandi Rhodes 
and husband, Chris, Joshua Doucet and wife, Ricki, and Jade Doucet; great-
nieces and great-nephews, Kaylea Robichaux, Ally and Hailee Doucet, Joshua 
Doucet Jr., Aiden Doucet, and Ethan Rhodes; and special cousin and caregiver, 
San.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Doucet; and grandmother, Armita 
Brunett.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother and caregiver.
