Jeremy Michael Duet, 22, a native of Hoffman Estate, Ill., and resident of 
Gray, died Thursday, July 11, 2013.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home.Funeral 
services will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

He is survived by his parents, Archie Patrick Duet and Susan Babin Duet; 
brother, Andrew Paul Duet; sister, Jessica Marie Due; uncles, Tony Babin, Paul 
Autin, and Bert Duet and wife, Mary B. Duet; aunt, Wanda D. Harrington and 
husband, Scott Harrington; cousins, Elizabeth Harrington, Allen Duet, and 
Ginger Duet Reeves; great-aunt Barbara F. Klingman: and great-uncle, Robert C. 
Klingman.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Malvin Hebert Duet and 
Gerald and Marilyn Fanguy Babin.

Jeremy was a very loving person with a healing personality, which in turn led 
to his passions for massage therapy, herbal teas, and Tai Chi. He was a free 
spirit bringing happiness to everyone that was touched by his life. Jeremy had 
many hobbies such as hand crafting wooden bows and chain mail armor, practicing 
martial arts, and playing the keyboard. He lived harmoniously with nature and 
cared for many different animals. Most of Jeremy's days were spent putting 
smiles on the faces of his family and friends. He was formerly employed by AHA! 
Wellness Center, AVA Solutions Inc., and Domino's Pizza. He was a graduate of 
Central Lafourche High School in 2009 and Blue Cliff College in 2011 with a 
degree in massage therapy.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
