Necia N. Duet, 92, a native of Point Au Chene and lifelong resident of 
Galliano, passed away July 4, 2013.

Visitation will take place from 10:30 a.m. till funeral time on Monday July 8, 
at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. Funeral Mass will begin at noon 

with burial following at Cheramie Cemetery.

She is survived by her daughters Jean Baudoin and husband Bertman, Winola 
Dubois, Beverly Rushing and husband David, Pamela LeCompte and husband Jerry, 
and Terry Pitre and husband Gary; brothers Raymond Naquin and Emery Naquin; and 
sister Eula Mae Egle’ and Elda Alida Roundtree; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-
grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Almate Duet, parents Jean and Emelie 
Naquin; son Dwight “T-Plug” Duet; brothers Usey Naquin and Henery Naquin; and 
sisters Lena Gawlik, Alcide Battaglia, Enolia Vito, Lucia Guidry, Lorecia Duet, 
Ella Naquin, Enid Chauvin, and Cecile Levron.
