Joelle Montz Gerken, 70, a native of New Orleans and resident of Larose, passed 
away Friday, June 28, 2013.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until funeral time Sunday at Grace Lutheran 
Church in Houma. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the church, 

with a private burial at a later date.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Frederick Paul Gerken; sons, 
Stanley Bullock and Josiah "Joey" Bullock; daughter, Connie (Jesse) Bordelon; 
brother, Robert Montz; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley Montz Sr. and Nella Mae R. 
Montz; son, Randolph Robert Bullock; and brother, Stanley Montz Jr.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to Grace 
Lutheran Church or Christ Lutheran Church.

Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
