John A. Gravois Jr, 80, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, passed away 
Tuesday, July 30, 2013.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Our Lady of 
Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow. A Mass of Christian burial will 
be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, 

with burial in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church cemetery in Golden 
Meadow.

He is survived by his sons, David Paul Gravois, John Andre Gravois III, and 
Reese Anthony Gravois; daughter, Jill Janice Gravois; grandchildren, David 
James, Andrea Marie, Reesa Rey, Hannah Rene and Anna Sophia Gravois; and great-
grandchild Izzie Belle Nguyen.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna St. Pierre Gravois; and parents, 
John A Gravois Sr. and Neva St. Martin Gravois.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
