Helen Hutson, 78, a native of McComb, Miss., and resident of Houma, died 
Tuesday, July 30, 2013.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Falgout Funeral 
Home in Houma. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, 

with burial to follow at a later date.

She is survived by her sons, Jimmy and Emmett Simmons; daughters, Teresa 
Ferriera and Linda Black; brother, Anthony Hutson; sister, Alice Hutson; eight 
grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Simmons; grandson, Anthony 
Wayne Ferriera; parents, William and Ellie Hutson; and brothers, Charles Ray, 
William and Samuel Hutson.

Falgout Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
