Donald T. Jones, 78, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, July 16, 2013.

Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Mothe Funeral 
Home in Marrero. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the 
funeral home, 

with burial in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Gretna.

He was the beloved husband of 56 years to Jo Ann Hildebrand Jones; son of the 
late Harvey Theodore Jones Sr. and Laura Marie Landry Jones; loving and devoted 
father of Jan Jones (Steve Simoneaux) Terhune; grandfather of Gareth M. 
(Jessika Hurt) Terhune and Colleen T. (Ryan) Cunningham; great-grandfather of 
Lydia Terhune, Patrick Cunningham and one expected baby boy Cunningham; brother 
of Harvey Theodore Jones Jr.; and nephew of Theresa J. Thompson, who will be 
103 years old in October.

Donald was a native of New Orleans, a longtime resident of Houma, and currently 
residing in Washington. He was a very successful entrepreneur. He retired from 
the Bank of New Orleans and Regions Bank.

Mothe Funeral Home in Marrero is in charge of arrangements.
