Betty Koch, 84, a native of Pennsylvania and resident of Gray, died Thursday, 
July 25, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Samart Funeral 
Home in Houma. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral 
home, 

with burial in Grace Christian Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Houma.

She is survived by her sons, Allan, Kenneth and Richard (Patty) Koch; daughter, 
Barbara (Steve) Sachs; grandchildren, Christopher, Jennifer and Dawn Sachs, and 
Rebekah, Justin and Hannah Koch; and great-grandchildren, Alex, Kyleigh, 
Breanna, and Kyle.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Koch; mother, Catherine 
Kelly; and grandparents, Harry and Nora Sidel.

She served in the U.S Army for seven years as an LPN. She worked as a ward 
secretary at TGMC before she retired.

She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be sadly missed.

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
