Frances Ordoyne Larose, 78, a native and resident of Choctaw, passed away 
Monday, July 29, 2013.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at St. James Chapel 
in Choctaw. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the 
church, 

with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.

She is survived by her children, Adrian Larose and Bonnie Bourgeois and 
husband, Eves; sisters, Earline Sanchez, Melba Sanchez and Doris Sanchez; 
grandchildren, Jared Larose, Lani Cortez, Brandon Bourgeois and Leah Bourgeois; 
and great-grandchildren, Layne Cortez, Allie Cortez and Gage Larose.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Larose; parents, Wallace 
Ordoyne and Lilly Tabor Ordoyne; brothers, Roland, Wilton and Samuel Ordoyne; 
and sister, Louise Duet.

Her life was all about her family. She was a loving mom, grandmother, great-
grandmother and sister. She loved to cook for her family and friends. In her 
spare time, she loved to play Booray, the poker machines and spend time at the 
casinos. She also loved to watch the Saints games. She enjoyed taking care of 
the elderly and sick as a caregiver.

The family would like to thank Dr. Sarat Donepudi, Dr. Gamble and the staff at 
Mary Bird Perkins in Houma, Dr. Dunn and the staff and the medical team at 
Thibodaux Regional Cancer Center.

The family is also thankful for the care of her wonderful nurse, Darlene 
Brennan, Father Philip and Father Vincent.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
