Wendy Lea McNeill, 44, of Lynchburg Va., formerly of Sanford, N.C., passed away 
Sunday, July 28, 2013, in Lenoir, N.C. 

She was born on Feb. 13, 1969, in Lee County to James and Barbara Davis.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Miller-Boles Funeral Home in 
Sanford, N.C. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Holly Springs 
Baptist Church in Broadway, N.C., 

with burial in Holly Springs Baptist Church cemetery in Broadway, N.C.

She is survived by her husband, Christopher McNeill; son, Brandon McNeill; 
daughter, Taylor McNeill; mother, Barbara Davis, of Sanford N.C.; sister, 
Kristy Davis, of Sanford, N.C.; brother, Jimmy Davis, of Thibodaux; and two 
nephews and one niece.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Davis; and grandparents, Helton 
Davis, Lexie Odom, and Charlie and Frances Shaw.
She was a teacher with the Charlotte County Va. public school system where she 
taught sixth-grade English.

Miller-Boles Funeral Home in Sanford, N.C., is in charge of arrangements.
