Austin Matthew Odell, 19, a native of South Carolina and resident of Lockport 
passed away on Friday, July 26, 2013.

Visitation will be held at Holy Savior Catholic Church on Tuesday, July 30th 
from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A mass of Christian burial will be 
celebrated at 11:00 a.m. 

with cremation to follow.

He is survived by his parents, John F. Edwards, Stephanie Odell Hardeman and 
Donald J. Hardeman; brothers, Nicholas M. Odell, Brennan M. Hardeman, Evan M. 
Hardeman; sister, Amber N. Hardeman; grandmothers, Linda Kane, Cathy Edwards, 
Rita Odell Eckert, Sherry Odell; aunts, Venita Odell, Kami Odell Guidry and 
husband Brad, Gretchen Wright, Jill Gomez and husband Jose, Melanie Leeson, 
Lorraine Ballard and husband Clairence; uncles, Michael Edwards, Edward Wright, 
David Hardeman, and wife Edith, Dennis Hardeman and wife Carol; numerous 
cousins.

He was preceded in death by grandfathers, Fayne N. Edwards, James M. Odell.

Austin played baseball and soccer for Central Lafourche High School for 4 
years. He coached baseball for boys 11 & under (Venom Baseball). He enjoyed 
spending quality time with family and friends.
