Patrick Randy Parfait, 55, a native of New Orleans and resident of Houma, died 
Sunday, July 21, 2013.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Samart Funeral Home and from 9 
a.m. until funeral time Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Dulac. A 
Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, 

with burial in Holy Family Catholic Church cemetery in Dulac.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl H. Parfait; daughters, Desiree "Dumbo" 
Melancon and husband, Michael, and Tennie "Sweet Pea" Pledger and husband, 
Chucky; brothers, James "T-Neg" Paul and wife, Cheryl, and Angelo Parfait and 
wife, Reyes; sisters, Barbara Fitch and husband, "Boogie," Bessie Jackson and 
husband, "Peanut," Beverly Billiot and husband "Mack," Patricia "Chenia" Verdin 
and husband, Richard, Cindy Verdin and husband, "Regis," Angelie "Pokey" 
Parfait and husband, Floyd; grandchildren, Ki'Lyn "KiKi," Kinslee "KinKin," 
Kayson "KayKay" and Chucky Jr. "Chuck Chuck PaPa's Baby Boy"; and godchildren, 
Santrina "Ching" Verdin, Kobe Verdin and Zeke Defelice.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph "Took" and Irene Trosclair 
Parfait; brothers, Joseph Aubrey and Jessie J. Parfait; and grandparents, Henry 
and Juliann Parfait and Angelo and Louise Trosclair.
