PLEDGER, JAMES, SR. 

James E. Pledger Sr., 66, of Hull, Texas, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013, at 
his residence.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Oakwood Cemetery in Navasota, 
Texas. 

A gathering of James' family and friends will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at 
Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton, Texas.

He is survived by his sons, Little John Paul Pledger Sr. and wife, June, Shane 
Pledger and Maria, and Jeffery Pledger; 10 grandchildren; four great-
grandchildren; brother, Raymond Pledger and wife, Judy; and a host of other 
family and friends.

James was preceded in death by his parents, J.P. and Doris Emmons Pledger; son, 
James Pledger Jr.; and sister, Patricia Burgess Enfinger.

Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton, Texas, is in charge of arrangements.
