Joel Polaski, 49, a native of Morgan City and resident of Thibodaux, died 
Sunday, June 30, 2013.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 11 a.m. until funeral time 
Wednesday at Thibodaux Funeral Home. A dismissal service will be at 1 p.m. 
Wednesday at the funeral home, 

with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray.

He is survived by his wife, Christine Polaski; mother, Sylvia Polaski; sons, 
Joseph Polaski, Timothy and wife, Jaci Aupied, and Jason and wife, Chantell 
Aupied; daughter, Julie and husband, James Fanguy; sister, Laurie and husband, 
Chris Guillot; grandchildren, Charlie and Cameron Adams, Noah and Jaison 
Aupied, and Dustin and Drake Fanguy; in-laws, Joseph and Joyce Terrebonne; and 
brother-in-law, Jody and wife, Nicol Terrebonne; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Polaski; and sister, Darlene 
Polaski.

Joel loved the Saints, old westerns and the history of the Civil War.
He will be dearly missed.
