Frank Anthony Porretto Sr., 91, a native of New Orleans and resident of Houma, 
died Tuesday, July 30, 2013.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Friday at St. Francis de 
Sales Cathedral. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the 
church, 

with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.

He is survived by his devoted and caring wife of 66 years, Claire Olivier 
Porretto, of Houma; son, Frank Porretto Jr. and companion, Sandra Plauche; 
daughters, Cathy Zeringue and husband, Mert, and Denise Cenac and husband, 
Bobby; grandchildren, Scott and Tony Zeringue, Aaron and Andre Porretto, 
Michele Bergeron, and Patrick, Philip and Bryan Cenac; great-grandchildren, 
Megan and Molly Zeringue, Mia and Katie Porretto, Emma Porretto, and Ali and 
Kate Bergeron; and brother, A.J. Porretto.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Anna Colombo Porretto; and 
father and mother-in-law, Doze and Issabelle Olivier.

He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Vandebilt Terrier Club, 
St. Francis de Sales Cathedral School or the Louis Infant Crisis Center.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
