Nelton Joseph Rodrigue, 85, died Sunday, July 7, 2013 at 3:20 PM. 
He was a native of Point-Aux-Chenes, LA and resident of Houma, LA.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at 
Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Wednesday, July 10, 2013 from 8:00 AM until 
service time at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial 
will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. Gregory Barbarigo 
Catholic Church. 

Burial will follow at Terrebonne Memorial Park.

He is survived by his wife, Rona Picou Rodrigue, Houma, LA, sons, Freddie 
Rodrigue, Nelton Rodrigue, Jr. and wife Charlene, Russell Rodrigue and wife 
Patricia, Mark Rodrigue and wife Cheryl, daughters, Sheila Authement and 
husband Michael, Pam Ripley and husband Steve, eighteen grandchildren, twenty 
eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, sister, Doris Ledet.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Agnes Dupre Rodrigue, one 
brother and five sisters.

He was a parishioner of St.Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church.

He was the owner and operator of Rodrigue and Sons Plumbing. He was a member of 
the Lion's Club for over fifty years and was an avid collector of the Lion's 
Club Pins. He enjoyed dancing and making jigsaw puzzles.
