Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2013/f1307.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Lee Joseph Tregre, 81, a native of Vacherie and resident of Kraemer, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2013, at his home surrounded by family. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church in Kraemer. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church cemetery in Kraemer. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Nell M. Tregre; daughters, Bonnie Loupe, Sherry (Kevin) Cortez and Leeann (Gary) Cortez; son-in-law, Roy Loupe; grandchildren, Anissa, Troy, Mechell, Angie, Anika, Scott, Alana and Justin; great-grandchildren, Trey, Masyn, Lane, Tori, Skylar, Riley, Hunter, Jade, Brandon and Brody; brothers, Alfred (Tat) and Robert Tregre; and sisters, Earline Kraemer, Louise Hotard and Sally Dufrense. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Beronie and Vinia Tregre; in-laws, Agney and Vivian Martinez; brothers, Guy, Benoit "Ben", Edwin and Herbert Tregre; and sisters, Lucy Tregre and Elda Breaux. He was retired from Avondale Shipyards after 42 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, cooking and spending time with family and friends, especially his dear friend, Dick Gravois, whose friendship he treasured. He was a parishioner of St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 10800. Our thanks goes out to the Rev. Philip and the staff of St. Joseph Hospice, who provided great care and support to our husband, dad and family. Also thanks goes to all the family and friends who gave us love, prayers and support during our time of need. He will be greatly missed by his family.
