OCTAVIA "DORIS" SOCO WALKER, homemaker died Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Heritage 
Manor of Napoleonville. 

She was a native and resident of Napoleonville, LA. 

Visiting at St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church in Napoleonville, LA from 
9:00am to the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013, Father 
Gordian Iwuji, MSP officiating. 

Burial in St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church cemetery in Napoleonville. 

Survived by her son, Alvin Soco, Sr. of Thibodaux, LA; 4 sisters, Lorraine Soco 
of Thibodaux, LA, Carol Ann Soco of Beaumont, TX, Ora Mae Soco of Hammond, LA, 
and Denise Soco of Houston, TX; 1 brother, Harry Soco of Thibodaux, LA; Also 9 
grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other 
relatives and friends. 

Preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Walker; her parents, Houston and 
Octavia Gilton Soco; 5 sisters, Delores S. Johnson, Geneva S. Fleanders, Alice 
S. Thomas, Hilda S. Robinson, and Vivian Soco; 4 brothers, Justin, James, 
Alvin, and Houston Soco.
