Acie A. Weatherford, 67, a native of Monroe, and a resident of Raceland, passed 
away on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 9:55 p.m.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. till 9 p.m. on Friday, July 19, at Falgout 
Funeral Home in Raceland and from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday, July 20, at 
St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland. A mass of Christian burial will be 
celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church 

with burial to follow in St. Mary Catholic Church cemetery in Raceland.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda Weatherford; children, Sammy 
Petrolia III and Denise W. Thibodeaux and husband Gary; 4 grandchildren; 
brothers, Trevor Weatherford of French Settlement, Hubert and Irvin Plaisance 
of Georgia; sisters, Joeann Hendricks of Kentucky, Shirley Bruno and Jody Dupre 
of French Settlement, Dot Boudreaux of Bayou Blue and Carmaline Hendricks of 
Houma.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph I. Weatherford and Edith 
Plaisance.
