Visitation will be held at Samart-Mothe Funeral Chapel in Cut Off on Friday, July 12th from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, July 13th from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. Military honors will be held at 10:00 a.m. by The United Veterans League. Funeral Services will be held in the chapel with burial in Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Eddie Joye Wells; son, Hank Wells and wife Paula; step son, Jamon Franks; brother, Allen Wells; grandchildren, Brant Wells, Tyler Wells, Randy Wells, April G. Tatum, Lillie Guidroz, Jeremiah Guidroz, Torrey Guidroz, Julliene G. Leyva, Frannie Guidroz, Rhonda Richmond, Jimmy “Jimbo” Richmond, Stormy Franks, Harlie Adams, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lilly Rose Wells; parents, Jessie and Johnie Wells; son, Keith Guidroz; daughter, Gerry Ann Guidroz Richmond and sister, Dolyne Wells Woods. He was a Korean War veteran who served in the U.S. Navy. He was an avid golfer, he loved hunting and fishing. After 40 years he retired from the oil field.
