BIAS, ARTHUR 

Arthur Bias died Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Plymouth Baptist 
Church in New Orleans. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the 
church, with burial in Providence Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Abram; children, Veronica Tate, Alva Houston, 
Demetra Bias, Schawanda Berry and Willie Jenkins III; siblings, Peggy Mitchell, 
Jane Dempsey, Eula, Gracious, Betty, Horace and Jerome Bias; 11 grandchildren; 
and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Gracious Dempsey; and 
siblings, Geraldine Dempsey and Harry Bias.

Littlejohn Funeral Home in New Orleans is in charge of arrangements.
