Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2013/f1308.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Pearl Robichaux Blanchard, 99, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Chauvin, died at 1:40 a.m. Friday, Aug. 2, 2013. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church cemetery in Chauvin. She is survived by her sisters, Mae Shelley, of California, Onita Babin, of Houma, and Wilma Howard, of California. She also had many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Nook" Blanchard; parents, Alphonse and Nettie LeBlanc Robichaux; brothers, Allen and Rudolph Robichaux Sr.; and sisters, Beulah Chauvin, Mildred Desormeaux, Wilda "Pete" Desormeaux and Hilda Dupre. She worked for Chauvin Brothers Packing Company for more than 40 years and retired from the Terrebonne Parish School Board as a custodian. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ======================
