A mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, August 22nd at 11 a.m. at 
Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow for Lucy Bouffanie 
Bousegard, 88, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Pearland, TX, who 
passed away on August 17, 2013 at 12:40 a.m.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. till 11 a.m. service at the church 

with burial at Our Lady of Prompt Succor cemetery in Golden Meadow.

She is survived by son, Glenn Bousegard; daughter, Lola Bousegard Oliver and 
husband Richard; sister, Joan Ann LeBouef; 5 grandchildren, 14 great 
grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband, Leo Joseph Bousegard; parents, Olympio 
and Violet Boudreaux Bouffanie; son, Olympio Bouzigard; brothers, Clabert 
Bouffanie, George Bouffanie and Norman Bouffanie; sisters, Godlynn Bruce and 
Violet “Nan” Ledet.
