Cheryl Sonier Bunnell, 52, a native of Houma and resident of Terrebonne Parish 
died Thursday, August 29th, 2013.

Visitation will be Friday, August 30, 2013 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Samart 
Funeral Home of Houma. Visitation will resume Saturday, August 31, 2013 from 9 
a.m. until service time at the funeral home. The funeral service will begin at 
11 a.m. 

Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Phillip John Trahan Sr.; parents, Dewey & Betty 
Sonier; sons, Thomas Bunnell, Sean Bunnell & Phillip Trahan Jr.; daughters, 
Angelle Marie Montiel & Jennifer Trahan; Grandchildren, Aaliyah Lobos, Carter 
Bunnell, Zayden Montiel, Jai Lobos & Andrew Bunnell; sisters, Elizabeth 
Arceneaux, Roxanne Leonard, Patti Matherne & Joanne Sonier; Grandmother, Lucy 
Cunningham; mother-in-law, Mary Jude Trahan.

She was preceded in death by her niece, Brandy Sonier, nephew, Scotty Sonier; 
cousin, Rory Lecompte; brother-in-law, Dukin "Butch" Arceneaux Jr.; 
grandparents, Rita Sonier, Herman Sonier & Riley Saucier; uncle, Earl Sonier; 
friend, Shirley Hebert; father-in-law, Willard "Mooch" Trahan.
