Evelyn Bernard Chauvin, 106, a native of St. Martinville, LA and resident of 
Napoleonville, LA passed away on August 4, 2013.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 from 9:00 AM till funeral time 
at St. Anne Catholic Church in Napoleonville, LA. A Mass of Christian burial 
will take place at 11:00 AM at the church 

with burial in St. Anne Catholic Church cemetery in Napoleonville.

She is survived by her children Bernard Chauvin and companion Jolene; daughter-
in-law Joyce Chauvin; Margaret Joy Thibodeaux and husband Denis A. Thibodeaux; 
Dewey James Chauvin and wife Colette Chauvin; brother, Edward J. Bernard; 16 
grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dewey P. Chauvin; parents Edward J. 
Bernard and Odelie Berard Vincent and; brothers Halphen J. Bernard, Clevance J. 
Bernard; sister Claire B. Robichaux, great-granddaughter Leslie Guedry.
