Genevieve "Jenny" Dubois, 86, of Cox's Creek, Ky., passed away Sunday, Aug. 18, 
2013, at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville, Ky. 
She was born Nov. 30, 1926, in Buffalo, N.Y.

There will be no visitation or funeral services at this time. 

Her final resting place will be in St. Lawrence Church Cemetery in Chacahoula 
at a later date.

She is survived by her daughters, Susan (Darrell) Melancon, of Bardstown, Ky., 
and Gerry Dubois, of Italy, Texas; grandsons, Shawn Melancon, Shane Melancon 
and Chad Hyles; granddaughters, Cherie Hyles Cedillo and Rhonda Jo Hyles 
Stillwell; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest J. Dubois; parents, Frederick 
and Minnie Brett Billings; and sister, Evelyn Campbell.

She was a U.S. Postal Service clerk and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home in Bardstown, Ky., is in charge of 
arrangements.
