ERNEST "BLACKJACK" DUNCAN, JR., a retired laborer died Saturday Aug. 3, 2013 at 
his residence in Thibodaux, LA. 
He was 62, and a resident of Thibodaux, LA. 

Visitation at Williams & Southall Funeral Home, 1204 Cleveland St., Thibodaux, 
LA on Friday, Aug. 16, 2013 from 2:00pm to 4:30pm. Visitation at Christ Baptist 
Church, Belle Rose, LA on Sat., Aug. 17, 2013 from 9:00am to Religious Services 
at 11:00am conducted by Rev. Tyrone Scott. 

Burial in Christ Baptist Church cemetery, Belle Rose. 

Survived by 3 daughters, Treshanda and Trelitra Duncan, and Tremayne Alexis, 
all of Thibodaux, LA; 9 sisters, Shirley Duncan, Barbara Wright, Jeanine Woods 
(Arthur), Melissa Duncan (Walter), Kim Fletcher, and Dominica Jones (Lance), 
all of Thibodaux, LA, Gloria Spot, and Agnes Spot of New Orleans, LA, and Edith 
Cooks of Napoleonville, LA; 5 brothers, James Spot (Gina) of Baltimore, MA, 
Willie Spot (Angelle) of New Orleans, LA, Jerome Spot, Oliver "T.J." Spot, and 
Curtis Price, all of Thibodaux, LA; Also 7 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, 
nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Preceded in death by his mother, Rosa Mary Spot; father, Ernest Duncan, Sr.; 1 
grandchild, Shaniyah Duncan; 1 brother, Michael Fletcher; Maternal 
grandparents, Eddie and Ceola R. Fletcher; Paternal grandparents, Lillie and 
David Duncan, Sr.
