Joseph “Joe-Joe” A. Dupre, 58, a native and resident of Cut Off, passed away on 
August 3, 2013.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 16 at the First 
Baptist Church in Golden Meadow.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. till 11 a.m. service at the church 

with burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Cut Off.

He is survived by wife of 40 years, Kay Delaune Dupre; step mother, Dolcina B. 
Dupre; children, Jennifer Gaspard, Travis Dupre, Jamie Besson and companion 
Connie Burleigh; grandchildren, Dominique Dupre, Corey Dupre, Devin Gaspard, 
Destiny Gaspard, Brittney Williams, Kelly Besson and Bryson Besson; great 
grandchild, Nazerath Dupre; half brother, Paul Naquin and wife Mary Jean; 
sisters, Lula “Cheyenne” Johnfroe and husband Gerald, Judith Doucet and husband 
Vincent, Ashley Hebert and husband Kelly, Cathy Billiot and husband Curtis; 
half sisters, Mazie Chouest and husband Carroll and Gladys Cheramie.

He was preceded in death by parents, John A. Dupre and Felice N. Dupre; son, 
Steven Dupre; infant brother, Rudy Dupre.

Mr. Joseph was a member of the National Hot Rod Association and the 
International Hot Rod Association.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
