ESCHETE, BYRON JOSEPH 

Byron Joseph Eschete, 81, a native of Houma and resident of New Orleans, passed 
away Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013.

A private funeral service will be held at a later date, 

with burial in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery in Houma.

He is survived by his brother, Charles V. Eschete and wife, Barbara Badeaux 
Eschete; sister, Lois Eschete Hill and husband, Robert Joseph Hill; nieces and 
nephews who loved him very much, Tommy Eschete and wife, Sheri, Rachelle 
Eschete Jozwiak and husband, Gary, Chris Eschete and wife, Theresa, Brian 
Eschete and wife, Jackie, Lisa Hill Bennett and husband, Thomas, Mary Hill 
Charpentier and husband, Sonny, Laura Hill (Peter) Watson, Sally Hill Brinser 
and husband, Steve, Wesley James Hill and wife, Donna, and Timothy Jon Hill and 
wife, Tori; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Van J. and Noemie Babin Eschete; and 
niece, Suzanne Eschete Allen.

He was a Hyatt Hotel bellman and a U.S. Army veteran.

Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home in New Orleans is in charge of arrangements.
