John Galjour, Sr., 75, a native of Leeville, LA and a resident of Cut Off, LA, 
passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2013 in Thibodaux, LA.

Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM Sunday, August 25, 2013 and from 
10:00 AM until 12:45 PM Monday, August 26, 2013 at Falgout Funeral Home, 
Galliano, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM Monday 
at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Cut Off, LA, 

with burial to follow in Sacred Heart Catholic Church cemetery, Cut Off.

He is survived by his wife, Rosie Vizier Galjour; children; John Galjour, Jr., 
Taylor Galjour and wife Trish, Drake Galjour and wife Jackie, Chris Galjour and 
wife Melinda, Wade Galjour and wife Mitzie, Tina G. Reed and husband Kirkland, 
Dolci G. Fillinich and fiancé Wayne Lescavage; step children Michael Gros, Jim 
Odee Lewis, US Army, Cathy Gros, Susan Mayet, Melissa Duet, Dorothy Lena' 
Lewis; brothers Larry, Bobby and Van Galjour, Jr.; sisters, Gloria Galjour, 
Darlene Rabalais, Connie Gaspard, Donna Collins, sisters-in-law, Jane Rouchon, 
Rose Mary Guidry; 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his former wife Brenda Gros Galjour; parents, Van 
Galjour, Sr. and Priscilla Galjour; sister, Deanna Rousse; brothers-in-law, 
Valcour, Morris, Jimmie, Tommie Vizier; sisters-in-law, Verna Callais, Odette 
Thibodaux, Mary Gilbert and grandchild, Tyler James LeBouef.

He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who loved spending time with 
his family.

Falgout Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements.
