Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2013/f1308.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Hal Marston Greene, 79, a native of Houma and resident of Picayune, Miss., passed away Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013, at St. Barnabas Anglican Church at 201 Norwood St. in Picayune, Miss. The Rev. Jonathan Filkins will officiate the service. Burial will be in Biloxi National Cemetery at a later date. He is survived by his devoted wife, Una Perque Greene; stepdaughters, Linda Dyess and Lillian Mitchell Hamilton; stepson, Irving Mitchell; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hal Greene Sr. and Frances Trigg Greene; brother, Vance Greene; former wife, Vivian Badon Greene; stepson, Mark Puckett Sr.; and grandson, Mark Puckett Jr. Hal was a member of St. Barnabas Anglican Church. He was a 1950 graduate of Terrebonne High School. He received a bachelor's degree from LSU and a master's degree from Texas A&M Corpus Christi. He served as a U.S. Naval Aviator and retired as Lt. Commander. He flew in several commands in the Pacific, Atlantic and South American theaters. He completed a tour as a flight instructor in the Navy Training Command. For more than 20 years, he represented Reed Tool Co. in the U.S. and the overseas oil drilling equipment industry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Barnabas Anglican Church. McDonald Funeral Home in Picayune, Miss., is in charge of arrangements. ======================
