Visitation will be from noon until funeral time Friday at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the church, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Edgar Guidry; children, Diane Breaux and husband, Gary Breaux, Pam Naquin and husband, Andrew Naquin and Kevin Toups and wife, Jhon; stepdaughter, Susan Stolz and husband, Claude Stolz; grandchildren, Chantel Leehans, Dean Breaux, Kana Waddle, Cherise Iver, Todd Naquin and Kristie Acosta; step-grandchild, Brandy Gendusa; great- grandchildren, Tiffani Mader, Stephanie Andre, Brittany Strickland, Cody Iver, Allie Iver, Heather Naquin, Gabby Acosta and Sophie Acosta; step-great- grandchildren, Victoria Tujague, Shelby Gendusa and Annalyse Gendusa; and great-great-grandchildren, A.J. Mader, Kaden Mader, Evan Andre, Trevor Strickland and Taylor Strickland. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Louis M. Toups; son, Jerome Toups; stepdaughter, Marlene Guidry; granddaughter, Patrice Naquin; sisters, Inez Richard, Olivia Richard and Elaine Zeringue; brothers, Roy Roger and Joseph Roger; and parents, Joseph and Eugenue Bernard Roger. She was a parishioner of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed being a homemaker. The family would like to thank Audubon Health and Rehab and St. Catherine's Hospice for the care that was given to Virgie in her time of need.
