CLARA CLEMENT, a homemaker died Saturday Aug. 10, 2013 at her residence in 
Napoleonville, LA. 

She was 81, a native and resident of Napoleonville, LA. 

Visitation at Williams & Southall Funeral Home, Napoleonville, LA on Wednesday, 
Aug. 14, 2013 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Visitation at St. John Baptist Church, 
Napoleonville, LA on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013 from 9:00am to Religious Services 
at 11:00am conducted by Rev. Louis Clark. 

Burial in St. John Baptist Church cemetery, Napoleonville. 

Survived by 2 daughters, Ethel Carter (Morrell), and Karen Melancon (Tony) of 
Gonzales, LA; 4 sons, John Clement of Napoleonville, LA, Patrick Clement 
(Enjoli) of Thibodaux, LA, Leslie Hurst (Karen) of San Diego, CA, and Frank 
Hurst (Tierenie) of Mobile, AL; 3 stepdaughters, Margaret Hurst of Baton Rouge, 
LA, Albertha Sharper and Mildred Williams, both of New Orleans, LA; 2 stepsons, 
Conelius Hurst, Jr. of New Orleans, LA, and Spencer Hurst of Baton Rouge, LA; 1 
brother, Roland Clement (Lynn) of White Castle; Also survived by 13 
grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other 
relatives and friends. 

Preceded in death by her parents, Clara and Frank Clement, Sr.; 1 Daughter-in-
law, Shanta Hurst; 2 sisters, Flora and Henrietta Clement; 5 brothers, Alvin,
