LANDRY, SHIRLEY BENOIT 
(Died August 24, 2013)

Shirley Benoit Landry, 89, a native of Thibodaux, LA and resident of Choupic, 
LA passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2013.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 from 8:30 AM until 
funeral time at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church located in Thibodaux. 
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 AM. 

Interment will follow in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church cemetery in 
Thibodaux.

She is survived by her children: Foster Landry Jr. and wife Joann Percle, 
Barbara Gaudet and husband Johnny, Kathy Prince and companion Steve Falgoust, 
Jimmy Landry and wife Opal Granier, Paul Landry and wife Carla Fonseca, and 
Darlene Lirette and husband Jimmy, 12 grandchildren, and 10 great-
grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Foster Landry Sr., parents, Jeanette 
Vicknair and Pauline Benoit Sr., her sisters, Cecil Simoneaux, JeAune Tardo, 
and Rita Benoit, brothers: Russell, Curves, Pauline, Joe, Lester, and Jessie 
Benoit.

Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.
