Earl Brewer Lishman Jr., 81, passed away Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013. 
He was born on Feb. 8, 1932 in Yazoo City, MS., was a native of Philadelphia, 
MS., and a resident of Thibodaux, LA.

He was preceded in death by his parents Earl B. Lishman and Lorena Lampkin 
Barnes and 1 infant granddaughter.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Margie Burnham Lishman, 5 children; 
Earl C. Lishman and wife Bernadette, Linda Lishman Kirkland and husband James, 
Brenda Lishman, Susan Lishman Landry and husband Patrick, Tommy Lishman, nine 
grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

His successful career of pipeline welding, which gave him the opportunity to 
travel to many states and several countries ended in 1994 after being diagnosed 
with Essential Tremors and then Parkinson's Disease. After retirement he 
enjoyed tinkering in his workshop and maintaining a manicured lawn.
