Michael Jerome Mahoney Sr., 54, a native and resident of Terrebonne Parish, 
died at 7:02 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at Jones Funeral Home in Houma 
and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at First Corinthian Baptist Church. 
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, 

with burial in Southdown Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Kirk Mahoney; mother and stepfather, Betty 
and Aaron Dottery; son, Michael J. Mahoney Jr.; daughter, Rennasha Mahoney; 
brothers, Daniel and Anthony Mahoney; sister, Sherryl L. Mahoney; and two 
grandchildren.

Jones Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
