THOMASSIE, MICHAEL 

Michael A. Thomassie, 53, a native and resident of Larose, passed away on 
Monday, August 26, 2013 at 12:40 p.m. in Larose.

A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 30 at 1 p.m. at Holy 
Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. 
service at the church 

with burial to follow in Holy Rosary Catholic Church cemetery in Larose.

He is survived by his wife Phyllis Hebert Thomassie; son, Ryan Thomassie; 
daughter, Casey Callais and husband Glen, Jr.; grandchildren, Kaden Callais, 
Karmyn Callais, and Lundun Thomassie; father, Jerry Thomassie, Sr.; and 
brother, Jerry “Punkin” Thomassie, Jr. and wife Mary “Suzy” Thomassie.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Thomassie.
