Alton "A.J." Adams, 68, a native and resident of Chackbay, passed away Friday 
Aug. 30, 2013. 

A visitation to honor him will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Thibodaux 
Funeral Home and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at Our Lady of Prompt 
Succor Catholic Church in Chackbay. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 
a.m. Thursday at the church, 

with burial in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church cemetery in Chackbay. 

He is survived by his niece, Trisha O. Abadie; great-niece and nephew, Lauryn 
and Kameron; uncle, Louis Ordoyne; godchild, Michelle Boudreaux; and numerous 
cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Florence Ordoyne Adams; and 
brother, Hilton Adams. 

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
