Religious services will be held on Saturday, September 21 at 11 a.m. at Samart 
Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off for Lenore “Eleanor” J. Atchley, 72, a native of 
Cut Off and resident of Amelia, LA, who passed away on September 17, 2013.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, September 20 and on Saturday, 
September 21 from 8 till 11 a.m. service at the funeral home 

with burial at Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery in Larose.

She is survived by husband of 9 ½ years, Charles Atchley; sons, Phillip Jelks 
(Tina) and Jamie Jelks (Erica); 3 step children; daughter, Paula J. Lavergne 
(Lloyd); brother, Philocles Nacio; sisters, Joan Deshazo  and Amy Billiot; 16 
grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 10 step grandchildren, 11 step great 
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by 1st husband, Charles B. Jelks; parents, Baptiste 
Nacio and Feda Verdin Nacio; son, Elroy Jelks; daughters, Janice J. Cressionie 
and JoAnn J. Kern; brothers, John, Norman and Anthony Nacio; sisters, 
Antionette Carnes and Marie Boudreaux.
