AUTIN, RUBY LOUIS 
(Died September 9, 2013)

Ruby Louis Autin, 98, a resident of Memphis, TN and native of Thibodaux, LA 
passed away on Monday, September 9, 2013.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2013 from 11:30 AM until 
12:45 PM at Landry’s Funeral Home in Thibodaux, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial 
will take place at 1:00 PM at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral. 

Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.

He is survived by four daughters, Drusilla Schifani of Memphis, TN, Pamela 
Fossier of Lafayette, LA, Audrey Henkel of Athen, GA, Loretta Register of 
Biloxi, MS; 26 grand children, 49 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grand 
children.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ora Legendre Autin; a daughter, Deanie 
Coman; son, Dr. David L. Autin; 2 grandchildren, Michele Fossier and Eraste 
Autin.

Mr. Autin was a successful insurance business professional in Lafourche Parish, 
initially representing First National Life Insurance Company and Common Wealth 
Insurance Co. 
He belonged to the Lafourche Council No. 1114 Knights of Columbus. 
He was also active in the Serra Club of Thibodaux, LA.

Landry’s Funeral Home, INC. is in charge of arrangements
