Breaux Jr., 67, of Houma, passed away, Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at his home. He was born to the late Bernard F. Breaux and Margaret St. Julien Breaux. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral in Houma. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the church. He is survived by his son, Bernard F. Breaux III, of Houma; daughter and son- in-law, Jeanne and Scott Shaw, of Houma; and daughter, Andree C. Breaux, of Shreveport. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Roy St. Julien Breaux. He graduated from St. Francis Boys Academy in 1963. He was employed by Tennessee Gas Pipeline as a right of way agent for 35 years and retired in 2001. Bernard enjoyed music, dancing and hunting. He was an avid sports fan, especially of LSU football and baseball. His greatest joy was visiting with family and friends on his front porch. He was affectionately known as the "Mayor of the Subdivision" because of his many visitors. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude Research Center in Memphis, Tenn. ======================
